The starting point

What needed solving.

The background

L'Atelier JUMP has been making textiles in Vernaison since 1956. Two ranges: JUMFIL hunting clothing and workwear for hotels, restaurants and the construction trade.

The constraint

A hunter and a hotel manager are not looking for the same thing, do not use the same vocabulary and do not buy in the same way — one buys single items, the other buys in bulk with branding. The two ranges shared one page, to the detriment of both.

The response

Two brand worlds under one workshop. JUMFIL keeps its own identity for hunting; the workwear range has its own. The common foundation is the workshop: seventy years of French manufacturing, highlighted as the guarantee that holds for both markets.

The scores recorded at delivery.

Lighthouse scores for the live site. We publish them as they are: when one is low, its cause and the plan to fix it are set out below rather than glossed over.

Design & art direction

Every design choice, and the reason for it.

  1. Two worlds, one workshop

Each range has its own entry point, codes and photography. The “workshop” page is shared: it carries the proof of manufacture and serves both audiences.

  2. 1956 as the central argument

Longevity is highlighted from the very first screen. In made-in-France textiles, where many players are recent and subcontract, seventy years of in-house manufacturing is the strongest differentiator.

  3. Quote requests for professionals

The workwear market buys in bulk, with sizes and branding. The journey leads to a structured quote request, never to a basket.

Engineering

What's under the bonnet.

  • Next.js
  • React
  • Tailwind
  • Vercel
  1. A typed catalogue, two ranges

One shared data model, two sets of values. Product pages, filters and markup are all derived from it with no duplicated code.

  2. An identified SEO improvement

92 for SEO: a few product pages in the workwear range have descriptions that are too short. The point is logged and will be addressed when the catalogue is expanded.

Search engine optimisation

How the site makes itself findable.

  1. Two vocabularies

“Veste de chasse française” (French hunting jacket), “pantalon traque” (driven-hunt trousers) on one side; “tenue de cuisine professionnelle” (professional chef's wear), “vêtement de travail BTP personnalisé” (custom construction workwear) on the other. No shared keywords, two site trees.

  2. Made in France, stated and proven

The origin is named in the titles and documented by the workshop page. An unsubstantiated claim of origin is both a legal risk and a loss of credibility.

Questions

What we are often asked.

Rarely. Two domains split authority and double the maintenance. Two visual worlds under one domain, with a shared foundation carrying the proof, give the same sense of specialisation without the cost.
